MEET BRIAN
About Brian S. Quinn, Esq.
A Powerful Voice for Resilience, Recovery, Mental Health, and Hope

Meet Brian
Brian S. Quinn is an attorney, motivational speaker, and recovery advocate who uses his lived experience to help others recognize that struggle does not have to define their future.
His life changed the day after he passed the bar exam, when his mentor tragically died in front of him on a courtroom floor. The trauma that followed contributed to PTSD, mental health challenges, and addiction. Now, with 18 years in recovery, Brian shares his story with honesty, vulnerability, and humor.
Brian most recently served as Education and Outreach Coordinator for Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers of Pennsylvania, helping lawyers, judges, and law students affected by substance use, mental health disorders, stress, and burnout.
His perspective combines decades of legal experience, formal education in drug and alcohol counseling, and something no credential alone can provide: a deeply personal understanding of trauma, addiction, recovery, and resilience.
Education & Professional Credentials
Brian’s experience brings together legal knowledge, counseling education, and decades of work within the legal community.
- Juris Doctor, Villanova University School of Law, 1973
- Certificate in Drug and Alcohol Counseling, Villanova University, 2012
- Undergraduate Degree, Villanova University, 1970
- Licensed Attorney in Pennsylvania
This background allows Brian to speak credibly about the pressures facing legal professionals while connecting those experiences to broader themes of stress, isolation, identity, recovery, and hope.
Award-Winning Impact
